## Project Overview

This REDD+ project focuses on peatland conservation and restoration across 30,000 hectares in Riau Province, Sumatra. Peatlands store disproportionately large amounts of carbon—up to 20 times more per hectare than mineral soil forests—making their protection critically important for climate mitigation.

## Comprehensive REDD+ Development
